The Zoo Crew's Mom tipped us off to a situation going on right now. We're asking our friends to read the article and if you feel so inclined write a quick note about your feelings.
The story is about a dog who is legally living with his family in Chelsea. They are not breaking any of the building or city rules or regulations. The building board being led by Soledad O'Brien of CNN is taking the family to court to force them to "get rid" of Ugo, a Neopolitan Mastiff. Why, you ask? Well because of his "size, slobbering, shedding, drooling, gassiness and odors." By the way, she lives 3 FLOORS away from Ugo and his family. Not even our COMBINED smell could reach that far. Even if we ate beans and chili and rolled in our poop.
Come on friends, what if someone wanted to make us leave our family because we fart a lot? We'd all be homeless. Ugo's family is even taking him to a professional groomer three times a month to try to make the power-hungry board like him more...and offered to use the freight elevator so his farts wouldn't bother them. They said no. Hmm, wonder why? Maybe because then they wouldn't have something to complain about?
We're asking that if you think this is wrong for Ugo to be made to leave his family take a second and post this info on your blog plus send a note to CNN.

That is just horrible. That dog is beautiful and from the pics loves his family very much, and it seems despite his smell they love him too. Down with the Board!!!
